Crematorium
  • How Do I Know I'm Getting the Right Ashes Back?

Over the years, this has been one of the largest issues surrounding cremation. The answer is, you should only work with a professional cremation service provider that you can trust. Central Carolina Pet Services welcomes you to tour our facility. Some families prefer to witness placement into the crematory. We maintain a permanent record of all cremations we handle. Each cremation is handled with care and respect at all times.

  • Can I Bury My Companion At Home?

Yes, home burial is an option. Most jurisdictions allow home burial but may have certain restrictions. Consider your long term plans. Will you live at the residence for the rest of your life? Many people choose cremation so that they can take their beloved pet with them in case they move.

  • Can I Scatter My Pet's Ashes?

Yes, you have the option of scattering. Many people like to spread the ashes in one of their pet's favorite areas or possibly a garden. Remember, that scattering is an irreversible decision. So take time in making your decision.
Most people who do this prefer to keep a small portion of the ashes. This small portion may be placed in a keepsake urn, or even a memorial locket. A "place of memorial" in your yard can be quite comforting.
A few of the kind notes from those we have served.

"Thank you so much for your caring and understanding. My dog Sophie had been a wonderful friend and companion for 16 years."

"We picked up the ashes of "Baby" on Saturday. I just wanted to let you know how touched we were by the little container with the label. I wanted to mention the very special card that you had enclosed. The Rainbow Bridge story was the most beautiful thing I have ever read."

Most Sincerely,
Judy & Jerry Seivers"

"My husband, Mike, and I would like to Thank You for your kindness and gentle words when our cat, Midnight, went over The Rainbow Bridge. You treated Midnight not like an animal, or even as a pet. You understood that he was a member of our family for 15 years.

You made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.

Thank you for everything,
Shannon McCraw"

"Our heartfelt thanks to you for taking care of our beloved Jake. He was such an important part of our lives and family for 13 1/2 years.

His final resting container and plaque are beautiful, we could not be any more pleased with the way it turned out.

We appreciate your compassion and kindness during our time of sadness.

Warmest regards,
Andrea Mortensen"
